We recognize that a satisfied customer will come back in the future and we hope to build a lasting and mutually beneficial future together!
Whiskey Run started in 2010 just a few friends from Oregon's Bay Area wanting to try out different music, different instruments exc. With Elliott Fry - Drums, Amber Yester - Bass, Jeff Rundberg - Lead Guitar, and Stacy Tate Jr - Rhythm Guitar, Alto Sax, and Lead Vocals . The original Drummer Elliott Fry moved away to college, and Bassist Amber Yester needed to focus on work.
Shortly there after we found Guitarist Matt Malone who we convinced to play bass and Cam Stinson who hadn't played his drums in 20+ years. Coincidentally all employees at Bimart. Who's idea was a very eclectic set with slogan "Something for everyone". Writer team Jeff and Stacy wrote a majority of the bands original music with 20+ original songs, however Cam Stinson contributed a few original songs as well. This line up lasted until late 2015. With Jeff and Matt leaving the group to pursue other interests.
Without much of a break Patrick Horath Jr and soon after Dave Brunett joined the Whiskey Run Band as the lead guitarist and Bassist adding a great new sound and energy to the bay area band with new sounds, licks, and Harmony's!
Stacy Tate Jr - Lead Vocalist, Rhythm Guitarist, and Saxophonist for Whiskey Run. A classically trained Baritone Saxophonist from Coos Bay, Oregon. Played with the Oregon Coast Lab Band as a youth and later a director for the Jr and Senior bands, then Saxability Sax Quartet, and Snowballs Chance in College at Southwestern Oregon Community College, and Soul Pie before starting his own band with Whiskey Run. Performed with a number of groups and performers including Under the Street Lamp (PBS Special), Highstreet, The Toyz, Done Deal, Charlie Freak, Lucky Trousers, John Salzano, Jeff Baker, Suzanne Randall, and Little Ol' Oprey On The Bay.
Patrick Horath Jr - Lead Guitarist of Whiskey Run, Bandon born and bread. Graduated in 2005, spent most of his schooling involved in any music programs he could get into, as a Tenor Saxophonist. Since graduating he dabbled in guitar and bass until 2007 when he started taking a serious interest in electric guitar. Thanks to his amazing and all powerful teacher, The Internet, he has risen quickly into the amateur mess he is today. Thanks internet. His influences include Mark Tremonti (of Alter Bridge), Paul Gilbert, Linkin Park (what?), and the all knowing youtubers who unknowingly taught him everything he knows.
Dave Brunett - Bassist for Whiskey Run. He began playing Guitar and Bass in high-school, forming a rock band with friends and also playing for the local church. Joined Redding, CA band Here For The Fall, an alternative rock band, writing and recording original music and performing locally. He later worked with Sacramento, CA Post-rock band Captured By Jupiter, co-writing and recording original music. After relocating to Coos Bay, OR, he joined Whiskey Run.
Cam Stinson - Percussion and Back-Up Vocals for Whiskey Run. A self-taught drummer from Yuma, Arizona that honed his skills by mimicking his favorite 80's hair bands. While devouring a steady diet of Motley Crue, Poison, Def Leppard, and Whitesnake, Cam also played in several bands in his youth. Batteries Not Included and Some Assembly Required were high school bands while later Ides of March helped Cam prove his chops in the emerging new era of grunge. While life put music on pause for some time, after a twenty year hiatus, Cam was approached to play with Whiskey Run.
